✓ Negotiated, on behalf of Bangladesh, many agreements including with Myanmar on Rohingya issue.
✓ Chair of the Bangladesh National Task Force for Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (2013 – 2019)
✓ Special Envoy on Migration of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh (2019)
✓ Led the Joint Working Group between Bangladesh and Myanmar for repatriation of Rohingyas (2017-2019)
✓ Chair of Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Summit, held on 2016, hosted in Dhaka
✓ Instrumental in proposing and drafting the UN global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration adopted in UNGA in December 2018. (2017-2018)
